We supervise up to 30 student research projects each year. For students of the University of Stuttgart and beyond, new interesting and challenging tasks in the field of textile technology as well as textile machinery are offered continuously. The topics arise from the work on current research projects and are tailored especially for students of Mechanical Engineering, Technology Management and Process Engineering. Applications made on your own initiative are accepted gladly. However, students of other disciplines are also welcome to submit their application to do their undergraduate research in applied research at ITFT.
The cooperation with the German Institutes of Textile and Fiber Research (DITF) allows the students to participate in current research work at the non-university institute of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Götz T. Gresser also.
