Module "Working Techniques and Project Work"

The right approach to scientific studies is the basis for successful project work. Together we will find the appropriate topic for you.

Module 18040

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ulrich Nieken, Institute of Chemical Process Engineering (ICVT)
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Christian Bonten (IKT), Prof. Dr.-Ing. Götz T. Gresser (ITFT), et al.

We offer this module (2 SWS, 3 LP) for students of the Bachelor of Process Engineering.

Within these lectures the students learn to work on simple scientific tasks in the field of technology with different methods. Students gain initial experience in the planning, construction, operation and handling of technical test facilities as well as in the systematic basics of project work (team building, information procurement, conception and planning phases, use of computer-aided working methods as well as tools and presentation techniques) in order to apply these specifically in later student and scientific work.

Students who complete "Working Techniques and Project Work" at the DITF find a project idea in a creative workshop with our employees and then put it into practice. In recent years, for example, a T-shirt indicating the level of alcoholization of the wearer, a German flag recognising the emotions of the football fan waving it and a deck chair recognising excessive sunlight have been developed and implemented.
